Reunited at last!

This weekend Amy, Brad, and Shadow stopped by to visit and see the house. Bailey and Shadow have not seen each other in nearly two months. They have both grown and changed a lot, and they had a great time together. We went on a walk to the Olympic Sculpture Park...it was beautiful day. Oh, and as you can see, Shadow decided to be rebel and touch the sculptures even though it's forbidden (in a public park...talk about ridiculous)!

Snuggling with Mom and Dad

Bailey's favorite thing to do in the whole wide world in snuggle with her parents. Here are some recent shots. First she is snuggling on the couch the day both her and her mama came home from surgery. In the second she is spooning (yes, actually spooning ladies and gentlemen) with her papa on the bed. And in the third this is my view of Bailey when she manages to fit in amazingly small spaces on the couch with me. Gotta love her....

Friday Harbor

Last weekend our air conditioning decided not to work on the hottest day we've seen in months and so it was 80 degrees in our little box by 8:30am. At that point we decided we had to get out of the house for the day. So we packed a day bag, grabbed Bailey, and headed to Friday Harbor. We parked and walked on and off the ferry. It ended up being a great day. It was Bailey's first ferry ride and she did great (except for when Mom put that toy on her head and she couldn't get it off....she was not so happy about that one).

All the kids together...

This NEVER happens so we had to record it as quickly as possible. We apologize for the quick and unorganized shots. We caught Bailey, Kylie, Tang, and Tilly all hanging out on the couch together the other day. Very cute....

Hiking!

The usual sixsome of Crytsal, John, Kylie, Aaron, Bailey, and I went hiking a couple weekends ago and since it was later in the day, the trail was pretty deserted and we let the dogs do some exploring. Bailey had an awesome time exploring the wilderness with Kylie as her guide, but she never got too far away from Mom and Dad, that scares her. Oh, and I didn't mention that she's SUPER FAST! Just check-out the picture to see. She's pretty proud of that one. We also got a nice family portrait in, a cuddle shot of the girls, and the rarely recorded super-sneaky attack move that Bailey is attempting on Kylie in the middle of the trail. Oh well, they can't all be brilliant. :)

Bailey and her Grandma Perkins

Bailey and her Grandma both enjoy naps, and because Bailey is so cute, Grandma was even willing to nap on the floor with her. Ahhh....so cute. :)

Bailey and Kylie

While they are best friends, they don't really appreciate cuddling, so they've established defined sleeping areas at both Kylie's house and Bailey's house. It's quite cute. Doesn't leave much room for the rest of us, but oh well.

Car Rides

Bailey is quite the snuggler (as those of you who have met her know) and she sometimes decides that it's too lonely in the back seat of the car. So she makes her way up to the passenger seat (whether someone is in it or not) and then she proceeds to walk around in circles because she can't get comfortable on the tiny seat (trust me, it is NOT comfortable when she walks around in circles on your lap!). SO...needless to say, I caved and laid the seat back so she had more room to get comfortable and, well, as you can see she found a comfortable spot finally.

Dog Park Fun!

This was Bailey's very first experience at a dog park. She had just finished getting all of her shots the day before so she was FINALLY able to go play. She was so excited and had a fantastic time. We went with her best friend, Kylie, who showed her the ropes. Bailey had a good time following in Kylie's footsteps until Kylie went in the water. Bailey is NOT down with water. She thinks dogs that like water are crazy and just a little stupid. I've tried to explain to her that everyone is different and being different doesn't make the other dogs weird, but she doesn't really believe me. Maybe when she's a little older...
