My Little Cuddle Bug

I couldn't help it...I had to post these pictures. Try and ignore my ugly mug and focus on how cute and sweet my little girl is! She is the BEST cuddler in the whole world!

Bailey and Cousin Cami

Bailey has a new family member, her cousin, Camryn. She just absolutely adores Cami as you can see in these pictures. She is always watching Cami and checking on her to make sure she's okay. She's going to be such a good big sister!

We will miss you

Yesterday, Bailey's best friend, Kylie, passed away after a short, but brave battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed. Kylie was a wonderful dog with a huge heart. She loved everybody. She was always ready to greet you at the door with a big smile and a wagging tail. She was a patient teacher with Bailey as a puppy and a gentle teddy bear with little kids. You couldn't find a better dog. She will always be her Mom and Dad's little Monkey and we'll remember her for all of the wonderful things that she was. We love you Kylie.

Bailey has a Boyfriend!

Bailey has her first crush. She recently fell in love with a handsome dane named Willis. Willis is new to the neighborhood and ever since we ran in to each other the two have been having some great playdates. Ahhh...puppy love.

Bailey has a new friend to hang out wiht at the office! Mango is our newest addition at work and her and Bailey have been getting along great. Bailey lays down and let's Mango climb all over her so they can "wrestle." It's quite cute.

Hiking & Other Updates

Okay....so I know I took a little blog sabbatical. I apologize. Life got busy. You know how it is....the kids get older and get involved with activities and friends and you just become a taxi cab service... :) Just Kidding. I've tried to bring the blog up-to-date over the last 4 months or so. We are definately taking less pictures now that she's outgrown her cute baby phase, but I promise to add pictures of our adventures every once in awhile. Here is Bailey from two weeks ago hiking Mt. Peak with her Mom. She has her training pack on that I bought her for Christmas. We've decided to get serious about hiking this year and I figure as long as I have a dog the same size of me, there is no reason she shouldn't be packing her own stuff in!

Bailey's 1st Birthday!

To celebrate my little girl turning 1 we had a birthday party at Magnuson Park. All of Bailey's buddies came to hang out and have puppy cake. They ran and played, ate cake, opened presents, and in general had an AWESOME birthday! Of course, it was freezing cold out, but we all suffered in silence in the name of birthday fun. My little girl is all grown up!

Christmas!

Bailey helped Grandma & Grandpa Perkins set-up their Christmas tree. She thought the tree was pretty great. She only tried to eat it a few times before she got bored with the process and played with her ball. But when it was all done, she danced with her mom in front of the tree!

Halloween!

Bailey was a turtle for Halloween..... No other explanation needed!

Bailey & Ralphi

Bailey loves playing with her buddy Ralphi. Ralphi is Ryan & Natasha's puggle and the two of them are pretty adorable together. Ralphi has no fear and they wrestle pretty hard core, but they also share very nicely. Such good little kids....

Hiking in the snow!

We want on a family drive up Mt. Rainier with Aaron's family last Spring and there was still quite a bit of snow up there. Bailey was pretty intrigued by it. She kept tring to dig this gigantic hole and we're not sure why....

Bailey LOVES little kids...

Bailey absolutely loves babies and little kids. And amazingly, I can trust her with them. She's very concisous of her size and movement around them and is very gentle with them. Here she is cuddling wiht my cousin Rhylie.

Dogs have healing powers ya know...

After my surgery last May, Bailey was hard-pressed to leave my side. She quickly learned that she had to be very gently with me and insisted on laying with me while I healed. Such a sweetie...
